During the course of this year, some children in Y5 have been attending the Royal Institute of Maths Master Classes.  These have been held at different schools such as Coleridge, Highgate Junior and North Haringey Primary.

The most recent school to host the group was Highgate Junior School where we learnt everything from maths sums to maths riddles.  Each lesson held challenges and excitement.  Eg making tetrahedrons, working on Einstein’s riddle problems and the tricks of cube and square numbers.

One Y5 teammate commented “I enjoyed being in a team with my schoolmates and my favourite part was when I solved Einstein’s riddle!”

We all loved the experience and learnt lots of maths!
