Church Lane Reception and Year 1 – Lower Phase

8.45am Gates open member of staff on duty in the main playground
8.55am Bell rung and children enter their own classroom via the classroom
9.05am Registers closed and sent to office.
9.10am Literacy or Numeracy/Foundation Stage Activities or PE
10.25am Assembly
10.40am Playtime
10.55am Bell Rings
11.00am Literacy/Numeracy/Foundation Stage/Activities or PE.
12.05am Lunchtime– Children are collected from their classroom by their SMSA.
Classes are divided into sittings
1.00pm Bell for equipment to be put away
1.15pm Lunchtime finishes
1.20pm Foundation Subjects
2.40pm Playtime
2.55pm Bell Rings
3.00pm Foundation Subjects
3.30pm Children go to a ‘going home place’ and parent/carer comes to door. Class Teacher allows children to go when parent/carer is present.
Children who are not collected brought to the office for teacher to telephone parent/carer Staff to record this in absence/lateness book in office.
Member of the Leadership Team will supervise late children.

 

Rectory Gardens Years 2, 3 and 4  – Middle Phase

8.25am Gates open member of staff on duty in the main playground
8.45am Bell rung Year 2 children go in via Y2 Hub entrance Y3&4 children line up with the teacher in main playground
8.55am Assembly – Registers closed and sent to office
9.10am Literacy or Numeracy
10.15am Playtime
10.30am Bell Rings
10.35am Literacy/Numeracy/Activities or PE
11.45am Guided reading
12.20pm Lunchtime – Children are collected from their classroom by their SMSA. Classes are divided into sittings.
1.20pm Lunchtime finishes
1.25pm Afternoon session 1
 –    Younger children may have an afternoon break
2.20pm Afternoon session 2
3.15pm End of school day – Children go to a ‘going home place’ and parent/carers come to the playground. Class teachers allow children to go when parent/carer is present.
Children who are not collected are brought to the office for teacher to telephone parent/carer. Staff to record this in absence/lateness book in office. Member of the Leadership Team will supervise late children.

10.50am Literacy strategy/Numeracy strategy/ Activities or PE
11.50am Lunchtime – Children are collected from their classroom by their SMSA. Classes are divided into sittings.
12.45pm Lunchtime finishes
1.20pm Afternoon session 1
2.20pm Afternoon session 2
