In English, the children have been writing ‘Kennings’ which are Viking riddles and which describe someone or something using clues. In maths, we have been working out how to find the perimeter of a shape. On Wednesday, we paired up for a challenging perimeter investigation where we had to draw a rectangle with a perimeter between 20 and 30cm in which the length was 2cm greater than the width. In science, we have been drawing the human digestive system, before creating our own models to simulate the different organs involved in digestion.We have also been learning more about the Nativity story in R.E. and thinking about the different people who are important in this story, before creating ourown artwork about people who are important to us.
