In English we are studying Oranges In No Man’s Land, about a ten year-old Lebanese girl who risks her life to get medicine for her grandmother during the civil war. In maths we are continuing to investigate the properties of triangles and 4-sided shapes and measuring angles and drawing accurately. We’ve also been identifying parallel lines and finding missing angles of parallelograms, rhombuses and trapeziums. In RE we are studying the first two Pillars of Islam and the importance of prayer as well as how silence and stillness can aid our own reflection.
