In English we have now completed our fantastic story Oranges In No Man’s Land. Children’s reactions to the end of the story showed a real understanding of empathy, courage and the deeper understanding of what it is to live in the turmoil and dilemmas that political conflict bring to children’s lives. In maths we have been looking at measuring and converting units and using this knowledge to solve real life problems. We have also covered perimeter and area. We enjoyed presenting our Paris assembly today and hope the parents and carers who were able to join us, did so too.
