In maths we have been learning how to calculate the area and perimeter of rectilinear shapes and triangles. We have also been finding out how to calculate volume. Not forgetting arithmetic – we are getting much quicker at answering these questions! In English we have been working really hard on our comprehension skills, examining the strategies authors use to develop characters. We have started reading the book ‘Holes’ by Louis Sacher. In science, during the lovely weather last week, we spent the afternoon in the playground carrying out an investigation on lung capacity – some of us got very wet!
